2 weeks ago some friends from the Quad Cities came to visit... it was awesome to spend the whole weekend with the Lofgrens. We don't get that kind of bonding time often! Maxwell just loved having a play partner, Brielle. Jackson had fun talking everyone's ear off. We spent all day Saturday at the Mississippi River at our camper and we had so much fun just hanging out!!! Come back to visit anytime soon!!

wedding
Memorial Day weekend was eventful! We all started to get better from our various illnesses and one of our college friends got married!! If 12 years ago I had looked to that day... I wouldn't have expected to be at that wedding, but I am so glad that we were!!!
Lucky for us we got to spend the day and night with our friends Scott and Lindsay, they live in Atlanta and it was so great to get to just talk! Andy and I both had a great time catching up. We are going to hold them to a fall meet up!!! :)

Christmas
It's already the 2nd week of January! I can't believe it! We had a great Christmas season celebrating with family and friends and lots of food! I think we (hear me) have finished off all of our Christmas cookies, candies, and treat- thank goodness, because when you are nursing you should LOOSE weight. ha ha. I have a lot of "Christmas" to take down, but no one is coming to the house until Tuesday, so I still have time... ;)
We celebrated with Andy's family the weekend before Christmas. Then we celebrated with my family on Christmas. We use to travel between the 2 families on the holidays, but it got too stressful, so several years ago we decided to do every other holiday with each family. It has lead to much more enjoyment of the events and people and less wasted driving time! :) We get quanity and quality, instead of just rushing!

Elmo
Jackson and I went with our friends Heather and Mia to see Elmo Goes Green, at the Adler Theatre. He had a BALL! He sat on my lap the whole time just starring at the stage! He was dancing, too! I had my hand in front of his face once to take a picture and he pulled it down so quickly! It was awesome!!
